Mental Health Counselor David Teitelbaum Tragically Shot Sunday

The Broward County Sun-Sentinel reports that David Teitelbaum, a mental heath counselor in Pembroke Pines, was shot and killed sunday while visiting the named gunman, James Anthony Welker, a close friend of Teitelbaum.

Attorney William Moore claims that no charges have been filed at this time and that the investigation is ongoing. Moore further states that Teitelbaum served as a mental health counselor for the County of Broward for over 20 years.

He was well liked by all who knew him. This comes as a shock to all of us who have worked with him.
